I’ve enjoyed this show so far, the acting, the mysteries, etc. However, I’m starting to worry that it’s going too far towards a Lost vibe.
I was ultimately annoyed by how many mysteries there were just for the sake of being mysterious. While watching season 2, I kept getting annoyed every time another weird mystery was introduced, be it a symbol, object, thing, event… mostly because I can’t stop thinking “Is this going to be or is it just one of those mysterious creatures in the fog, the trap, the light, etc. he can stick his hand in their back and pull out absolutely anything and never go back to it again.
and that’s it, after the season I forgot, no explanation, it was just weird. I’ll still watch, but if one day it has an ending where it’s just “it was all in his head!” and no attempt is made to attach any thematic logic to it all, then rate this review at least 2-3 points lower…

I really like this so far after the first 3 episodes. I love the mix of 80’s movie inspiration and the cast has softened well and been successful so far.
Some don’t seem to understand that this was intentional and hate it, but that’s to be expected. I like my shows seriously, but there’s something really cool about your kids wanting to watch Star Wars with you.
