Disregarding her training and ethics, she finds herself making big changes in people’s lives, including her own. The cast of “Downsizing” share their best character-defining moments from Season 1 and find out who does the best Harrison Ford impersonation. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to appear on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted “Harrison Ford’s guy,” and was auditioning for people who looked like Ford.
Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least take it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had brought the project, sparking interest from other notable actors. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was excited nonetheless. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023) This show is a slap in the face!!
The characters have been developed so much even in the first and second episode, the jokes are perfectly timed and executed, and all the actors do a magnificent job! Harrison Ford does an amazing job in his supporting role and Jason Segal does a great job playing a damaged and flawed character trying to be a better person and father. This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time!
This show made me laugh like I haven’t in a long time. As a psychology student this play is hilarious and as a theater student I can appreciate how well the script flows. I can’t understand the negative reviews because this is already one of my favorite series after two episodes.
A chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to making and selling methamphetamine with a former student to secure his family’s future. Celebrate the fan-favorite series “Breaking Bad” by revisiting some of the most memorable scenes. During the hiatus caused by the writers strike, creator Vince Gilligan, impressed by Aaron Paul’s portrayal of Jesse as well as the fact that everyone liked Paul, decided to reinstate the character and have Jesse’s fate be given to another character in the first season finale. In the opening credits, the letters of the cast and crew’s names are highlighted in green to represent chemical element symbols. However, the “Ch” in Michael Slovis’s name was highlighted in several early episodes, despite Ch not being a chemical element symbol.
In later episodes, only the “C” (for Carbon) is highlighted. Walter White: Who Are You Talking To Right Now? Do you know how much I make a year? I mean, even if I told you, you wouldn’t believe it. Do you know what would happen if I suddenly decided to stop going to work?
A company big enough to be listed on the NASDAQ goes bankrupt. Disappears. Ceases to exist — without me. No, you clearly don’t know who you’re talking to, so let me give you a hint. I’m not in danger, Skyler.
A guy opens his door and gets shot, and you think that about me? No! The opening credits use chemical symbols from the periodic table of elements as part of the names: bromine (Br) and barium (Ba) for the title, neither for creator Vince Gilligan (except when he gets a V for vanadium), one for the cast and crew members. All episodes were repeated on an on-demand cable channel in some areas, commercial-free but with additional scenes not included on AMC. I cannot stress enough how good this show is. I have watched a lot of television in my life and this show is still the best show I have ever seen.
The story is about a hitman named Brain who gets into an accident during a murder and struggles to survive, suspecting everyone around him to find out who is behind the accident after barely surviving.
Amidst many accidents in the world, a designer “Young-il (Kang Dong-won)” disguises contract killings as “accidental deaths”.
This time, he prepares a mission to target high-ranking officials, but he and his team are in danger of being exposed.
And regardless of whether the sound mix was done poorly, the atmosphere is overly set with unnecessary sounds or background noises, and sometimes the actors It is difficult to listen to the lines when they are important.
While there are plot twists that are enjoyable to watch, there are also those that are just empty platitudes and have no substance, like this one.
A ranching family in Montana faces off against others encroaching on their land.. Forrie J.
John Dutton (Kevin Costner) frequently seems to have "forgotten" his Montanan accent and drifts back into the SoCal speaking voice he normally uses. (Review is only for the first two seasons)I came into this show not expecting to like it but the storyline, acting, and cinematography are superb.
The show is at its finest when it shows the chessboard moves the Duttons and their enemies engage in. The show gets gummed up early in the second season but starts rolling again midway through.
Kelsey Asbille is the weakest link as Monica and plays a poor hand badly, the storyline jettisons awkwardly out and the acting just misses the mark scenes Rip was in. Just as Cormac McCarthy's "All The Pretty Horses" was a little more raw and brutal than the title suggests, this show strikes in a similar vein.
