James Gunn pitched “CREATURE COMMANDOS” before he headed DC
Story
It tells of a group of military superhumans, consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project when he became CEO of DC Studios.
Quite an impressive start to the show
Screenwriter and series creator James Gunn is shown in the opening credits with a laptop typing the script. Featured in the AniMat film Crazy Cartoon Cast: Return of the (Mountain) King (2023).
The battle walls are perfectly animated and the environment is close to reality
WOW! I just finished the second episode and I’m amazed at how the story unfolded.
I honestly can’t wait for the next episodes to come out
The jokes make you gasp and the character sequence is just amazing. I’m impressed with the start of the DCU and can’t wait for the Superman movie.
