Story
Series adaptation of James Patterson novels about the complicated and brilliant detective, Alex Cross
Hodge is the third actor to portray Cross, following in the footsteps of Morgan Freeman, who first played him onscreen in 1997's Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 movie sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the titular character in 2012's Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap the preplanned sequel Double Cross.. When I drove truck I chewed up a lot of highway listening to James Pattersons Alix Cross, but I do not recall the story or stories this was made from.
None the less
In fact I think I was into his years where he was working with the feds instead of the city police department. That detective Cross did seem different from what I remembered.
This series had one major flaw for me
They seemed to run too many stories together. It was confusing at times to see the connections.
Other people here remarked how Morgan Freeman's rendition of Cross differed
On top of that the main evil man was almost a supervillain because of how well he was set up to get to anyone at any time. I agree, and I too would like to see this Cross actually act smarter most of the time instead of just in spurts.
